Ride quiet roads with a small group of up to 10, visit Ba Le Market, paddle a 40-minute coconut basket boat, harvest herbs, and cook lunch at an organic garden. Guides such as Tom, Nhat, Kun, June, Trang, and Shanti have led this experience, with plenty of local stories along the way.
Start near Hoi An Post Office with a short 3 km cycle through rice fields and villages. Shop for unusual fruit, ride a quiet basket boat through the water coconut forest, help an organic farm, then cook lunch from garden produce. Spend 3 to 4 hours at Caman Village in Hoi An, where local cooks guide you through an organic garden, herbal drink making, rice paper preparation, and 3 to 4 Vietnamese dishes. You’ll harvest herbs, play folk games, wear a chef’s hat and apron, and return home with a cookbook and participation certificate.

Meet the Lemon Basil family in Tra Que vegetable village for a three-hour cooking class led by English-speaking chefs such as Min. Tour the organic garden, help with simple farm work, then prepare spring rolls, green papaya salad, fish in clay pot, and Bánh Xèo. Small groups, dietary requests welcomed, and no cooking experience is needed.

Leave Ho Chi Minh City at 7:30am for an organic farm, where Chef Alice or another local chef guides you through harvesting vegetables, learning Vietnamese farming methods, cooking a multi-course meal, making rice paper, and preparing cashew candy. The small group experience ends around 3:30pm and includes transport, food, recipes, a certificate, and souvenirs.
Spend four hours cycling from Hoi An to Thanh Dong organic farm, riding a basket boat through nipa palms, helping with garden work, and cooking lunch with local hosts. The private tour includes a bicycle, bottled water, and lunch, with a return to the Hội An Post Office around 1 p.m. A guide named Karla may lead the experience.

Spend six hours with Madam Thu Farm in La Chu Village, where Hannah, Tuyen, Lisa, or another local guide leads you through seasonal farm work, a market visit, herbal foot bath, and cooking. Prepare Bun Bo Hue, Nem Ran, and Banh Nam, then eat lunch in a local home. Hotel pickup is offered in central Hue.
